Because my Golding arrived yesterday.

Spindle: Golding Tsunami by Golding Fiber Tools
Whorl: Cherry (3 in.) with brass ring and hand-bent, swan’s-neck, brass hook
Shaft: Fluted Maple (7 7/8 in. below whorl)
Weight: 1.9 oz. / 53 gms

It’s not plied yet, and not perfect.

But that doesn’t matter now.

I. Made. Yarn.

omg you did so good with the hand spindle! I always end up knocking myself in the leg somehow lol

what kind of fibre is it?

I can’t wait to see your plying results.

    You’re too nice :)

My spinning epiphany came late in the night and then I was spinning like mad. I think a good glass (or two) of Cab helped with the process.

    The fibre is Romney.

Is your shop still open for business? I keep checking and I haven’t seen anything since your last post in Nov.
