Hopeful
I have my “half-empty” moments, but not yesterday. This was taken on one of the trails surrounding our village.

It’s getting better all the time :)

Greta
I cast on for the Greta cardi late last night. The pattern is from Rowan (number 22).

Greta is also on my to-do list. Are you using the Chenille or did you sub? I’m thinking to do mine using some Rowan Magpie

how are you finding your spindle? I have a bottom whorl and find it a little wiggly at times.

the store is on hold for a bit while I redesign the shopping cart/backend. The overall design i want to keep but I’m trying to move it from WordPress to a real shopping cart software program.

This year is totally kicking my butt. I shouldn’t complain that I got more work but man lol I miss being able to kick back and knit.

Have a great week Miss D!

Polly: I’m using Lamb’s Pride instead, which I originally bought for Samus. I’m not sure if I need to purchase more yarn, so I started on the sleeve first and will move onto one of the fronts — my not-so-tech method of testing gauge and yardage. LOL.

Belinda: I was s – l o – w in the beginning, even when I spun the spindle, and that’s when I noticed a bit of wobble. The more I practiced, the faster I let that spindle spin and it spins beautifully! I have yet to master that thigh roll! I’m eyeballing those Forrester’s, Kundert’s, Cascabeles’, and the spindles made by Avi — they are gorgeous!

I hear you on the butt kicking — I don’t know if I’ll have much left in a few months — damn this school-thing. LMK when your shop is up and running. I want to try some colorwork! Enjoy your week and don’t work yourself too hard ;)

Your spinning is coming along beautifully. What a great sky shot.

    Rain: Thanks :)
I can’t wait to get my hands on more fiber! We were able to enjoy another sunny day and a great blue sky this afternoon. I can’t wait for Spring!

Erica: Thank you and you’re right :)
I’m trying really hard to avoid that temptation of the wheel!
